MONKEY!  Took this picture walking along the Mall road, Shimla in the evening. It is a wonderful place, which has over the years, evolved into a pedestrian shopping street. Vehicles are banned from the length of the road, and there are some exquisite examples of colonial era architecture. The peculiar thing about Shimla is that in summer, it is very hot during tthe day but becomes cool in the evening. This all combines to make Mall Road one of the more relaxing places in Shimla.

Tea. The perennial favourite.. It is an object of borderline religious veneration. No social gathering ever complete without a pot of tea, to bond over. Call me crazy, but I firmly believe that a good cup of tea can help you solve all your problems. I have never exactly been what is called a fan of coffee, unlike most of my caffeine crazed brethren. I have stuck to my guns and never left the side of the leaf, for the side of the bean. This picture was taken with a Canon EOS 550 D (not mine).
